Console login not responding after lost network
Sometimes when there's a network problem, such as server lost network connection due to faulty network card, console login become unresponsive. I can switch between various virtual console (ctrl+alt+fX) and enter the username, but I never get the "password" prompt back....most of times I end up reboot the server.
Why is this? any workarounds?
