Try xrdp instead of VNC, I find it's much better. VNC for me is very slow at refreshing the display.

It works slightly differently; it opens a new session instead of connecting to the currently running session.

Yes, see if xrdp is available for Fedora, otherwise you will have to do a manual install. Once it's on your server, use rdesktop or the graphical tsclient to connect to the computer with xrdp installed.

"yum search xrdp" will tell you if it's available.

That doesn't look like xrdp to me. You can get it from here http://xrdp.sourceforge.net/ but that requires you to build it yourself which could be confusing if you're new to Linux. It's worth learning if you have some time.

I just did a quick search and you can download an RPM from here http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/dag/red...9.rf.i386.html (the direct link is ftp://fr.rpmfind.net/linux/dag/redha...h9.rf.i386.rpm). There may be dependency problems but if it works, that will be the fastest way to get it going.

I would think that rdesktop and tsclient would be installed by default on Fedora.
