Configure Monitoring tool Nagios

Hi All,

I installed nagios-3.2 and nagios-plugin on my system.

I encountered the following problems installing Nagios :

1. /usr/local/nagios/bin directory was not created during installation, any idea why?
As, i can see other directories like etc, include, share, var, libexec

2. Nagios cannot be started when i use command: service nagios start
Error shows: executable file /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios not found. exiting..

Pls advise..

Thank you.

You might have forget to run make install-init.

Please try the installation with the steps provided in http://nagios.manubulon.com/traducti...nstalling.html
