Hi,
I've a sendmail server running on Fedora7. It configured with 2NICs, 1 LAN and 1 WAN. WAN is assigned with a REAL IP (from 32ip block). This system works perfectly and I've no complaints.
I'm planning to move my mail server from LLC (Leased Line Circuit) to ADSL line with 01 Static IP.
My doubt in configuring the Servers is win WAN setup. Because ISP is giving just 01 Static IP with 255.255.255.255. It will just issued to the Router.
So these are the problems that I've faced so far...
- How I'm going to set up up routing? Port Forward???? (Tried did n't worked my way
)
- If after that one and only IP is issued to Router what would be my Mailservers WAN IP?
- How I'm going to setup my reverse DNS?
- Do I have to buy a special ADSL router?
