Compiling Cyrus-Imapd

Dear All

Hi i have downloaded the latest source-code for cyrus-imapd and when compiling the same the
./configure --> works fine
make depend --> works fine
make install ---> exits with giving the error

Cannot stat libstat.a, Is it because the file libstat.a is not found because the source code was not downloaded properly or some other reason. Help from any one among you awaited ..

Thank You
Sudhir

Why not post the actual error rather than your Reader's Digest condensed version? The last 20 lines of the make install output is typically sufficient to figure out what make was trying to do when it failed.
