Login to the client server via ssh or telent
then moved to the temp folder
#cd /temp
#pwd
/tmp
then run #rm -rf *
Note: Before running rm commnad ensure you are in temp folder.

Thanks a lot for your answer
I tried to apply your commands on the terminal window in server computer:
When I enter ssh then I just receive some lines contain some info. like [D report],[/e scap-char]and so on then I come back to command line automatically. I think when I can not apply the first part, going to next commands which you recommended doesn't make sense.
Therefor my problem still exist!!

Ok, but if you don't post the exact error(s) you're getting, it's hard to give you any help. What program are you in when you try to type those commands? What user ID are you logged in as?

Hi
The client computers are XP windows and the server is red hat linux. I would like to delete the files which are in Temp folders on the clients computers. Usually I enter to linux by a simple password and open terminal window then start to apply my request like add new user name for some body as a login password for using client computers and so on.
I hope i could answer to your question.
Thanks
