Check Samba server transfer and receive performance ?
 

Hi all, need advice and criticsm about this.Recently users complaint about open folder and file via explorer being slow and open file via program too(file open file -> point to file like in excel, autocad, etc).
And also autorecovery/save in options excel(2007) when that happen is very slow, i'm not test yet the file while in local harddisk of user's pc.

Is there any way to check this out ? in samba side point of view, at what points load average (top) we can say the linux is very exhausted(i've got info when we want to check if linux exhausted or not is see the load average)

my size harddisk of :
system (size:80 G) (used:42G) (free:29G)
data (size:459G) (used:266G) (free:170G)
is there any issue about this free space of HD ?
