Centos: Ldap logging, do we need it?

Hi people.

I have a mail server + samba as domain with LDAP. Is working. I have openldap log enable, default level 256.

But this logs normal size daily 10MB-15MB, I think is to much. I have to rotate this every day.

Do u recommend me to disable the log of ldap and just enable logging went problems appear?

Do your logs are the same size or is to much?

Well it's up to you. Is there a negative effect of a 10mb file existing? You've not said it's causing any problems, so does it matter? Equally if you're not even looking at the log, why log it?
