CentOS: How to set font size/ resolution on main console
Hi All,
I use CentOS and i need to set resolution or font size so that i can see more lines of logs at a time on the main console of my CentOS box.

You have to edit the boot parameters.
Interrupt the countdown when booting, select to edit the kernel parameters and add a space then vga=791 to the end. This gives the console a resolution of 1024x768

I did as you told to add vga=791 and then rebooted the machine.
But after reboot it is not showing any thing on the main console...it is just blank.
what can be wrong there ?

You have to try one of the other resolutions in that link I gave you. Adding what I told you to the kernel parameters only affects the boot on one occasion. If you reboot, it will go back to what it was before.
