centos 6, setup menu in console - missing system services option
Hi.
We ended up installing a centos 6 and opted for minimal install. we manually installed the setup menu afterwards, added the network and security. but we are still missing the last part of the menu, which is system services. what module do i need to install?
if we type setup in console, the only options that show up are Authentication, Firewall, and Networking. How do we get System Services to show up as well?

What services are you looking for? I usually don't use the setup tool package but just install the packages I want from the yum command. It could be that you need the EPEL repository installed or the centosplus repository enabled. You can visit /etc/yum.repos.d/ and check out your current available repositories and enable ones you wish. For EPEL, you would need to download and install the package using the rpm command.
Thanks!! Basically my client just wanted the option visible like his other servers. Should have done basic server instead of minimal. But all good now.
