Centos 5.4 Tinyproxy Setup
 
Dear Experts,

I am trying to setup Tinyproxy Setup in Centos 5.4. I have tried it with Version 1.6.5 and the latest. But all in Vain. When i start the service it gives no "OK" or "Failed" message in the console.

I have that any one of you succeeded to to configure it successfully.
Kindly help me.

When i start the service by:

service tinyproxy start
It gives the below error:

Usage: /dar/tmp/rpm-tmp.85162 {start|stop|restart|reload|force-reload|status}

If it's failed, then it's failed for a reason, what do your logs say? check /var/log/messages

It is not reporting any error in /var/log/messages and there is no /var/log/tinyproxy directory.

ok, well don't use the service script. run tinyproxy directly using the -d flag to prevent is daemonizing and you'll see all the details you need.

Will you kindly give me the complete command to run service script.

no idea off hand, just look at the service script itself as and see what command it's running. It's probably just "tinyproxy -d", see the manpage for details.
