libin88 LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2005 Posts: 20 Rep:	cannot mount after I enable NIS client Once my NIS client is enabled, I cannot mount NIS server home directory. The error message is "mount: mount to NFS server 'NIS-NETWORK' failed: RPC Error: Program not registered" As long as I disabled NIS client, home directory on NIS server can be mounted again. Both my client and server boxes are running RHEL5 update 2. Any helps are appreciated.
