Can we add a group to cron.allow
I am trying to give access to a group to use cron.
I tried adding @groupname and %groupname and (escaped ) \@groupname and \%groupname, nothing worked. makes me start thinking that this is probably not possible. Does anyone have any experience on that. Can we add a group in cron.allow/deny instead of a user? |
As far as I know you can't use groups in /etc/cron.{allow,deny}.
*If the system uses PAM you could try a pam_listfile entry because it can allow or deny based on for instance group membership. |
You can't add group in cron.allow or cron.deny ...if you need more info click here...
