Can ping outside but not inside my LAN

I have a fresh install of suse 10.2 on my laptop. I have connected it to my network via wireless. When I get on my windows box I can't ping my suse machine and vise-versa. I also can't access my apache2 server on my suse machine, big suprise since I can't ping. When I try to ping from my linux box to google.com for example I can do this with issue. If anyone could help a noob out... Thanks in advance

Travis

Check your firewall settings in SuSe.

I tried to allow port 80 with no luck, so I decided to turn off the firewall still with no luck.

Have you added the hosts to your /etc/hosts file?

are you sure the firewall is off?

Try viewing the effective rules at the CLI:

" /sbin/iptables -n -L "

What does it say?

Also can you see the web page locally on the apache box?
(open a web browser and go to URL localhost or127.0.0.1)

/sbin/iptables -n -L gives me

bash: /sbin/iptables: No such file or directory

I checked and my firewall has been turned off. I also tried adding another computer to my /etc/hosts file with no luck. I can access the webpage using localhost on my suse box but that's it
