I'm installing debian server, and I have one sata disk for OS and adaptec 3805 PCI-E raid controller with 6 2TB sata drives in it.
I have installed and ran debian fine, but after I created 10TB raid5 volume and formatted it to XFS, I no longer can't boot to OS.
Booting starts fine with grub menu, but then:
Code:
booting kernel
mount: mounting /dev on /root/dev failed
mount: mounting /sys on /root/sys failed
mount: mounting /proc on /root/proc failed
target filesystem doesn't have /sbin/init
no init found
I think it tries to boot from my raid, but I have no clue why. In /dev my OS disk shows sda and raid as sdb.
kernel options: root=/dev/sda1 ro quiet
root (hd0,0)
If I disconnect raid card, it boots normally. Any ideas? Thanks..
