booting cluster node in non cluster mode
Hi all,
Can anyone advice me how to boot a cluster node in non-cluster mode in RHEL5.I do know how to boot the server in single user mode but not in non-cluster/multiuser mode. thanks in adance. Sree |
If you boot in single user mode, I do not believe the cluster processes are set in this run-level.
I have used the cluster suite to setup httpd with great success. However, I migrated away once we went physical to virtual. |

Thanks for your reply. Yes.No cluster processes would be running in single user mode. But all that i want is to boot the server in multiuser-noncluster mode. Sree |
Run-level 1 is single user mode and Run-level 3 is multi-user mode, you could chkconfig the service off if needed.
