booting cluster node in non cluster mode
 
Hi all,

Can anyone advice me how to boot a cluster node in non-cluster mode in RHEL5.I do know how to boot the server in single user mode but not in non-cluster/multiuser mode.

If you boot in single user mode, I do not believe the cluster processes are set in this run-level.

I have used the cluster suite to setup httpd with great success.

However, I migrated away once we went physical to virtual.

Yes.No cluster processes would be running in single user mode. But all that i want is to boot the server in multiuser-noncluster mode.

Run-level 1 is single user mode and Run-level 3 is multi-user mode, you could chkconfig the service off if needed.
