Lightbulb Boot from a specific .img file


I would like to boot from an .img file in the attached link on a pc.
Here is the link:

How should I do this??

Those instructions seem pretty straight forward.
What is causing you trouble?

I don't have the hardware. I would like to run it on a PC...
Will it run if I install Debian minimal? and how do I configure Debian to run from the .img file in the link?

You can use freenas or opennas.
