Bonding netxtreme DNS Clearing ISSUE!

I've just install Debian kernel 2.6.18-4 on an IBM x3550 server with dual broadcom netxtreme 2 BCM5708 Gigabit cards.

I set up bonding exactly as outlined in this tutorial Linked Here

The redundancy is working flawlessly except for one problem. My DNS is non-existent. When I go and add our DNS servers using NetWorkManager Applet 0.6.4 then restart the interfaces using: /etc/init.d/networking restart

I get the following error "Reconfiguring network interfaces...SIOCDELRT: No such process"

Once my interface comes back up the nameservers are cleared. I've also added them manually to resolv.conf with no luck.

If I restart the interface without adding th NameServers I get no errors. Any help would be appreciated .
