Block any download type of file in squid.......


i have added one acle rule in
[root@mail ~]#
vi /etc/squid.conf

#####after given line i have added my acl####
#Recommended minimum configuration:

acl all src 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0
###### To Block exe and other extenshion over internet ######

acl bad_suffixes url_regex "/etc/squid/bad_suffixes"
http_access deny bad_suffixes

i have added these extension in bad_suffixes
root#vi /etc/squid/bad_suffixes
.*\.exe$
.*\.bat$
.*\.mp3$
.*\.com$
.*\.zip$
.*\.mp3$
.*\.rar$
.*\.tgar$



last time when i used it it work but with this it also blcok my MSN and yahoo Messnger over network ..................

But now it dont work.......


Please disucess the best way to blcok the .exe.etc files and it it will not block our messengers....
