BIND, any advice could help

hello guys

i have CentOS_5.1

with:

[root@myserver rc3.d]# rpm -qa | grep bind
bind-utils-9.3.3-10.el5
ypbind-1.19-8.el5
bind-9.3.3-10.el5
bind-chroot-9.3.3-10.el5
bind-libs-9.3.3-10.el5

when i start:

[root@myserver rc3.d]# ./S13named restart
Locating /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf//etc/named.conf failed:
[FAILED]
i tried to copy and link /etc/named.conf to /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf

but i get the same result

i just want my server to resolve URL's for my localnet surfing

thank u all

Using your ISP's nameserver is not an option?

This is weird:
> Locating /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf//etc/named.conf failed:

http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Chroot-BIND-HOWTO-4.html
The location of named.conf is configured in this file:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/named
or
/etc/sysconfig/named
