I find comments like that pretty funny.
Absent the requirements, which the OP has yet to post, who can say what the best solution is? It may be that BackupPC is the best solution for this person, but it also may not be. It all depends.

I have dedicated server. I have two hard drives one is 134GB and other is 300GB & OS=RHE. all the files are on 134GB including RHE and 300GB is totally free.
I want to take backup/incremental backup of some specific folders or the whole system on the empty drive i.e. 300GB

I kind of like rsync with snapshots for that situation. Some detail and links were described in another thread here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...9/#post2990468 . There was a bit of confusion and discussion in the thread leading up to that post, but there were some critical links in some of the earlier posts in the thread. Should give you what you want.

Almost all backup solutions have vtapes as an option when performing backups to disk or at least something similar. And if your DLT tape drive works in Linux or the OS, most likely the backup software can use it or will recognize it. Oh and most other solutions that are still maintained fix bugs on a regular basis as well.

hmm. DLT out of the blue. Raakh didn't specify any tape drive or any networked computers, otherwise I might have suggested Amanda. If all you are doing is copying files from one disk to another on the same computer, then you don't really need all that infrastructure ... unless, of course, you are interested in learning about the software and expanding your skills.
