Autoupdate of Hostname of Linux sevrer to internal DNS in LInux
 
I want to configure redhat linux server to autoupdate it's hostname to windows internal DNS server.

Windwos DNS server is configured to accept the autoupdate.Please help!

You need to configure the server as DHCP client to do so.

This is what the problem i have. I am using static ip and i want that the Linux server should notify the Windows DNS server about it's IP and Hostname.
