Auto Sudo to root in Linux

I have question in my mind. Might be i am wrong but question is

Suppose one ldap user have sudo access on server and user can switch to root with this command

# sudo su -

But i want to know it is possible that user can auto login to root with sudo privilege through ldap user.
Means user could login from non privilege mode to privilege mode through ssh by using sudo privilege.

Regards

you probably could but i wouldn't recommend it because that just opens a whole can of worms security wise that you probably wouldn't want opened. Giving someone auto escalation of privileges you might as well enable to directly log in as root and be done with it, both situations are equally insecure.
