auto install RHEL cd
 

Hello All,

I was wondering if it is possible to edited the default RHEL CD to have it automatically install RHEL based off of a kickstart file that I will store locally on the CD. My plan would be to put a cd in a server and have the OS automatically being installed.

Yes, that's possible. Have a look at the RedHat documentation about kickstart. Basically, in a few simple words, you get an ISO, mount it, copy it's contents (watch out for hidden files), create and add your kickstart file and create an ISO which you then burn to CD/DVD.
