Asterisk 1.4x Do Not Disturb to Forward? & Can you push a call to FXS port via ext?

Hey everyone,

Running an Asterisk box here, and I was wondering if for example is there a way to check through the extensions.conf to see if a phone has been set to DND and can then GoTo another SIP user?

Also we have a Digium TMP400 card that has one FXS card, is there a way to push calls to it as well using GoTo or dial?

If an extension is set to DND it seems to show up as 'busy' when asterisk tries to dial it. At least that's what happened with a softphone I tried.

In extensions.conf the Dial() function called with 'j' flag set will jump to priority n+101 if the extension dialled is busy, so at that point you could arrange for the dialplan to call a different extension.

For the 2nd question, my understanding is that the setup of the FXS port is different, but then it should be functionally similar to a SIP extension. The O'Reilly Asterisk (starfish) book has a lot about configuring Digium FXO/FXS hardware.

Relative asterisk n00b here, so treat advice with caution!
