apache2 suse10.3 redirect to home directory as / is full

Hi folks,
I have installed apache it is up and running.

I want to be able to store files & everything else in my home directory.

So this would be my home directory saving web folders in a folder called "web"
My home dir being "/home/nige/web"

Currently my folders and all are at /srv/www/htdocs/

Is it possible to symlink from one to the other.

sudo ln -s /srv/www/htdocs /home/nige/web
sudo chmod 0777 /srv/www/htdocs

this should be possible

Yeah, except then his addresses would be

http://server/web/file.htm

Surely you could just change the DocumentRoot directive in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod...l#documentroot

to DocumentRoot /home/nige/web

Then your addresses become:

http://server/file.htm
