Post Apache2 install corrupted using webmin on Ubuntu Server 10.4

Hi there,

As you can see Im new here and this is my first post. I have found the site very usefull so when I couldn't find the answer to my question I though this would be the best place to post first. Please be patient with me as I am in no way and expert just trying to learn along the way.

So I have a:

Dell T105 PowerEdge Server
AMD Athlon(tm) Dual Core Processor 4450B, 2 cores
250GB HD
2GB
Linux 2.6.32-24-server on x86_64

Operating system Ubuntu Linux 10.04.1
Webmin version 1.510

I have used Webmin to install Apache Server & MySQL Server. Once I had these installed I pointed my browser to : 192.168.1.90 (which is my server) and got the "It works" message.

I have been trying to install phpPointofSale but to no avail. However, having removed that I can now no longer get the "It works" message. Instead everytime I point my browser to 192.168.1.90 it asks me to download the .php file?!?!?

My question is how can I get this back. I dont mind removing apache and re-installing but cant find any guidence on it.

If you need any more information just ask and Ill supply.

Thanks for your time.

heres the error

Hi,

I guess you have to install php:
Code:
sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5
If you don't want to use php, delete the index.php and leave the default index.html page

Regards
