Apache2.2 + SSLEngine

I've been trying for days now to get SSLEngine working on a Debian/Apache box I host for non-profit, and with SSLEngine enabled Apache appears to be crashing upon startup every single time. I've followed all the tutorials on generating private server keys and CA Certs etc. The Modulus matches and everything, I am getting a warning in the /var/log/apache2/error.log that the CommonName doesn't match the ServerName but I highly doubt that'd crash Apache. I'm really at a loss here, even deleted all the semaphores, and nothing changes.

Any suggestions?

Peace,
Paul

Forgot to mention it's on a Debian system.
