Apache Virtual Host issue

I setup the virtual hosts configuration in my 2.0 httpd.conf, made the appropriate modification to DNS both URLs and it works fine when I make a request to either root URL, however.....When I make a request for a page beneath the document root of each site, it fails, i.e sitedomain.com/page1.html.

Any reason why this is failing? Do I need to configure each directory in the virtual host portion found under the document root?

In addition, once this issue is figured out, will I run into an issue using mod_jk to handoff JSP servlet requests to Tomcat? One of my websites is just serving up php and html webpages, and one is serving up php, html and java webpages.

Thanks.

The error is URL not found.

I went through all the URL and URI links for the site, so it appears the issue is only with the handoff to Tomcat. I am using the tomcat connecter mod_jk to pass servlet requests to tomcat.

I was asked to host some additional websites from this box so I needed to implement virtual hosts, this is when my apache/tomcat config broke.

Do I need to do something different with virtual hosts to handoff to tomcat? I need to maintain several separate servlet instances on tomcat.

First, have you carefully reviewed your error_log? Second, if you're still stuck, would you be willing to post your httpd.conf (and related .conf files) sans comments?

e.g. # grep -v '^#' httpd.conf
