Apache server port problem

I'am using CentOS 5.3. I found that when I use the default port (80) as the listening port of the apache it will hang on the browser when I try to visit it. But if I change to other port (e.g. 777)as the listening port, it can be showed the test page normally. What can I do for this? Thanks.

browser to web page.
