I have by mistake deleted the apache2 folder on my Ubuntu Fiesty Linux Box.I re-installed the package and its dependencies through SYNAPTIC.
Now when I tried running apache service it is throwing error:

Code:
vjs@vjs:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Password:
 * Starting web server (apache2)... apache2: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for vjs
apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
httpd (pid 5342) already running
                                                                         [ OK ]
vjs@vjs:~$
vjs@vjs:~$ sudo kill -9 5342
vjs@vjs:~$ sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 start
 * Starting web server (apache2)... apache2: apr_sockaddr_info_get() failed for vjs
apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.0.1 for ServerName
(98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
                                                                         [fail]
vjs@vjs:~$
Please help.

check the "httpd.pid" if its already there this will cause problem usually when you close apache this file automatically deleted i guess in your case it did not deleted and when you need to start your server it sees this file and start to cry. pls check this file inside the log folder of your apache installation.
