Apache mod_proxy, problem with forms

Hello,

I am using Apache mod_proxy to proxy a website on my LAN (mydomain2.com). I have the following settings for which everything works fine. When someone accesses http://mydomain1.com/, it proxies http://mydomain2.com/.

Code:

ProxyPass /  http://mydomain2.com/
I would like to change this to do the following.
1. If someone accesses http://mydomain1.com/ then mydomain1.com is shown.
2. If someone accesses http://mydomain1.com/proxy/ then the domain http://mydomain2.com/ is proxied.

Is it possible to do this?

I tried changing the entry to

Code:

ProxyPass /proxy/  http://mydomain2.com/
This is not working when the proxied website (mydomain2.com) has html forms being submitted. Am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks

Change to
Code:

ProxyPass /proxy/  http://<Internal IP of LANwhere you hosted site>
or else in /etc/hosts/
Code:

Internal IP of LANwhere you hosted site  mydomain2.com

I tried putting the LAN IP in ProxyPass. It did not help.
