Apache error: Unable to Open Logs


I had started the apache after adding some new domains
Error log i am getting as "Unable to open logs"
While giving apache2ctl status i am getting as "ELinks: Connection refused"

I think this may be related to File Handlers. But couldn't confirm.

Can anyone help me in fixing this.

Hi,

I think it's a permissions issue.
Make sure that the apache user can write to the directory where you have configured for the logs of the new vhosts.

Is there anything written in the error_log?
If you think it's a File Handlers problem check this

This reason for this error is low number of file descriptors. Check the current limit of file descriptors in the file /proc/sys/fs/file-max:
