Apache and PHP Problems
Hi,
I tried to install an app on my Desktop/Server last night, and only after installing did I realize that it installed php4, only problem was that my tools on the website run on php5, so I tried uninstalling php4 and now php is not working at all on apache (when I try to goto a php page I get a request to save the php file), does anyone know an easy way to reconfigure apache to use php5. Thanks, Gavin, |
I suggest you uninstall all php rpms using YAST and then reinstall the ones for php5.

in the end I took the easy way, as uninstalling everyting and re-installing didn't fix the problem, I did a fresh install, (used my script which installs all my apps), and it took alot less time than I had so far spent on trying to fix it.
