Another Cert Question - Default Mount point
 

An online tutor is asking the following question

Q: Which of the following options is the default mount point of the system?

a. /etc/passwd
b. /etc/bin
c. /etc/fstab
d. /etc/sys

Given the choices Id choose C. However, I thought the default mount point is /media. Is this true ?

Has this been translated from another language? None of the answers make any sense given the question.

Would have no idea. Q + A help me .. so along with a class and book or books .. I usually get a online tutor that gives q+a. This one is ucertify.com which coincidentally is listed on the lpi page.

None of those, since they are all regular files. (Yes, mounts are "files" too...)
If those were the choices on a test, I'd likely choose "c" also.

That was my first impression. If it was worded "which of these files contains the default mounted partitions of the system?" then it would make sense, but as worded, C is the "best" option, simply because that's PROBABLY what they're going for...

Ok thanks alot guys. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
