Annvix alternative?

Hey there.

Today I stumbled upon Annvix, a server distro which seemed to suit my needs. I didn't realize the project was dead until I had installed/configured a box. So, I any of you might know of an alternative to Annvix, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Edit.

Thought a bit more info on needs might be an idea.

1.Decent package management. Slackware's pkgtools are too basic, dependency checks as a bare minimum.

2. Simple configuration. Similar to Slackware, Arch Linux, *BSD.

3. Focus on security.

Cheers.
