add new terminal

dear,

kindly tell me how to add one more terminal in redhat linux 5.3 .by default one is for grphical and other 6 terminals are cui. how to add
8th terminals.please give step by step.

You add extra terminals by editing /etc/inittab, this example adds tty7 thru tty11 to the standard inittab.
