accessing samba share

HI ,
I am trying to access a file on the samba share from a windows machine . I can Access the share and download the file . The security = share in smb.conf , but when I use a automated file to access the file I fails , the log says the Cannot access the share using the provided credentials. I have no idea which credentials to use I tried ("domain\account" on the server) ans password , There isn't any user of the samba share access as "security = share" . I have tried by creating a samba user administrator(and changing security=user) but the same error. Have anybody any idea what Credential should I use . The server is Ubuntu feisty there is no password for the share and no user.
