A question about root login on debian 4.0


root@sirjames:~# w
13:40:49 up 13:10, 1 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT
root pts/2 89.136.xx.xx 13:15 0.00s 0.10s 0.00s w


i seen at some shells administrators that they modifying smth and shows a name there .. what i need to do to show 'name' there replacing ip address ?

Try to configure your dns settings

Try to put some correct DNS Servers in your /etc/resolv.conf.

i want to be replaced with

root pts/2 SirJames 14:32 1.00s 0.02s 0.02s w
