I get this error when I do... me~]$ smbtree
\\myWin2008Srvr
cli_rpc_pipe_open: cli_nt_create failed on pipe \srvsvc to machine myWin2008Srvr. Error was NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

I can drag/drop files all day long using a Gnome Nautilus windoes on my CentOS 5.5 box.

My goal is to write a shell script to move my hourly mysqldump files to the Win2008 box which is my file server which is backed-up daily.

I have successfully written a shell script to run an hourly mysqldump and store the files in a folder on the localhost machine.

I do not understand how I can manually move files but I cannot do it in the BASH or Shell Script. I think I am really close to solving this but I must be a simple step away.

(NOTE: I installed WinSCP on the Win2008 server but I never got that script to work either.)

I work part time now so I may not respond until Monday.
Thanks for any coaching or suggestions in advance.

Sincerely,
An Old Newbie :-)
