YUM problems


Hi, I can't use yum for update package because it showed the messages:

#yum install firefox
Loaded plugins: rhnplugin, security
This system is not registered with RHN.
RHN support will be disabled.
http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rp...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 403: Forbidden
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: google-chrome. Please verify its path and try again

Verify YUM were installed:

find / -name yum.conf -print
/usr/share/logwatch/default.conf/logfiles/yum.conf
/usr/share/logwatch/default.conf/services/yum.conf
/etc/yum.conf

YUM is instaled

I tested yum

yum install firefox

It seems like the mirror is offline. Try using a different one or disable the conflicting one (google-chrome)

well right here is the problem

this is rehdat and you did not buy the REQUIRED support contract
basically if you do not buy it and register the install

you do not install software
what is on the old and out of date install dvd is it

there are NO "if's and's or but's " about it

buy the required support contract !!!!!!

or

install the FREE rebuild
CentOS 6.5

About the 'google-chrome.repo" : Delete it , you can always get a valid one later.
