Whats the BSSID in airsnort?

So, I run iwlist scanning in my konsole and I get 2 access points, myne and my neighbours, I run airsnort and I get like 100 bssids, and the one that collects the most packets, has a different bssid that my or my neighbours access points. Whats with that?

isn't the BSSID kinda like a MAC address?? if that's the case i'd expect every device to have a different BSSID...
