what is this in edquota?


what is this in edquota??


Disk quotas for user xxx(uid 500):
Filesystem blocks soft hard inodes soft hard
/dev/hda3 982532 0 0 2091 0 0

Will any one explain the terms?? Suppose i want to set 500MB , what i need to do?

This is an old doc but should help to understand quota and defining differnet quota limits for certain users than the ones from default setup. http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Quota.html
