Hi,

What do I need to do to have the changes on /etc/hosts.deny to work?

I have a Debian 5.0 / Lenny server.

nothing if they are configured correctly, should be automatic.

You are right. I also had a line in the hosts.allow file:

Code:

ALL: 10.0.

I thought that hosts.deny should overrule hosts.allow. But it didn't...
