vsftpd.conf/chroot/vsftpd.chroot_list issue
I have set up my vsftp to only allow a certain list of users to access directories higher than their home. This works fine, but I would like to set it so although they have access to / they still start in /home/username once they log into ftp. Is there a way to do this? I've searched and haven't found an answer.
Thanks. |

check the man page online
http://vsftpd.beasts.org/vsftpd_conf.html it mentions a tag called local_root perhaps you can set it to a system variable like $HOME? I haven't tried it myself. |
