i am installing freeswan using source code. but when i compile my kernel, i wont find bzImage in ...arch/i386/boot , how to install it and configure freeswan? thx for help in advance.

Then either your kernel didn't compile properly, or it installed itself already. If it's the kernel compilation, run the commands from a Bash script like "sh /usr/src/linux/compile_this.sh 2>&1|tee /usr/src/linux/compile_this.log" so you can peruse the log later and rip out the errors. Posting errors usually helps.
