In the same day both of my FC2 machines have been hit by either a really wierd bug or maybe a virus. The problem started on my laptop, which is rarely connected to the network. I was doing a paper and everything was ok. I booted into the laptop again a few hours later and my x.org server kept crashing. The logs mentioned something about no being able to find the default font. I left the laptop on and booted my desktop to try to find some answers and then suddenly my desktop started doing the same thing. Has anyone heard of this before?
No noone's playing any jokes, I did it to myself without realizing. I disabled xfs without realizing that I needed it. Sorry for wasting everyone's time. Thanks for the help.
phenuxrising; no apology needed, but concerned & attempted to help.
this is no reprimand just suggestion: do everything carefully, slowly & methodically to avoid mistakes which may lead to disasterous consequences. if need be read, research howto,s prior to commiting to any
interaction with system.
