It's still the same with a jumper too usually.

Theonlything is that you can lock certain cases and an attempt to enter the case would be noticed - afterall if you get into the case you can just put the hdd in a new machine.

If you are feeling panaoid but dont have a fancy case which you can lock then a hot glue gun to glue screws / cover screw heads works a treat. Its easy to remove by heating them up, but how many cackers/theives carry blowtorches?
