udp ports in suse 9.0 firewall?

Hey all,

I'm using Suse 9.0, and would like to use the built-in firewall (I'm not a big fan of guarddog). Most programs have no problem when the firewall is enabled, samba is fine and everything, but there is a couple that I suspect have problems because the udp port is not open.

How would I open a udp port in the Suse firewall?

Does it just give you control over tcp?

Thanks...

Have you looked at the SuSeFirewall2 script?
You can open UDP ports through that.

Cheers
