TripWire Problems


when i try to initialize the database of tripwire i get:

root@cerberus:~/tripwire-2.3# tripwire --init

*** Processing Unix File System ***
Software interrupt forced exit: Segmentation Fault
can any one help me to solf this i did a manual install i did not use a rpm or a tgz packet.

When I recently downloaded the newest tgz of tripwire, I recieved the same error message you posted. No idea why, maybe corrupt? Either way I just ran "apt-get install tripwire" and that downloaded and installed it w/ no problems.
